It seems you can only browse featured downloaded guides and not browse the world map anymore. If the place youre in is not included in a guide you have nothing. Useless. I will stay with OffMaps1 as long as I can in this regard. Nice UI otherwise.

Je viens dacheter cette version offmap. Jai télechargé les cartes de Casablanca et Marrakech. 80% des rues nont pas de nom et ne peuvent pas être trouvées par recherches. Je ne conseille pas lachat de cette application. Elle est Trés pauvre comme carte.. I dont advise you to buy this application. Its a Too poor map, the majority of streets have no names and cant be finded with the research tool.

Very good application. Very useful for those who travel and do not want to pay for data transfers abroad. Assistance is very reactive.

Very well thought and useful app, but it quits unexpectedly quite often. Otherwise Id recommend it.

Avant dacheter cette version , jai bien lu les commentaires précédents , et je me suis dit que plus on était à donner notre avis , plus nos remarques seraient écoutées . Tout dabord , cette version est design , belle , Mais comme le disent les commentaires précédents , " où est passé le concept doffmaps ?? " Cest vrai , cest bien dommage de ne plus pouvoir télécharger une zone seule . de plus , De pouvoir ajouter des restaurants non-répertoriés ou des bus, trains ... Pour pouvoir les partager entre chaque Posésseur de "Offmaps 2 " Un peu comme Yelp , si vous voyez ce que je veux dire .... Bref , Bien , Mais on ne sattendait pas à ça , cest vrai la première version est mieux , Mais je suis sûr que les concepteurs vont tout améliorer non ? Before buying this version , I have already read the previous posts , And I told myself that the more people share advices ,the more our remaks would be useful . First of all, I agree this version is nice , design However , As the other advices " Where is the concept of offmaps ? " Thats true , Its a mess not to download a specific zone , as we could do before . It would be graet to add restaurants or railways ,etc ...So that each people having the "Offmaps2" application could share new things . As " Yelp " does if you see what I mean . This is a good aplication but we didnt expect this , the first version is better than this one .. Unfortunatly ... Im shure the developers can improve this app ... Good luck , keep going ! :)

So easy to use. In Beijing, it is my best tool to check taxi drivers and to find any place. Continue with restaurants, famous places, name of buildings, and so on…. Hey guys, an idea: there is no bus map of Beijing..

Great app. Easy to use and store maps offline. This would be perfect if additional locations could be added through GPS coordinates, as i found lots of missing sites for my trip in japan. But i definitely recommend.

I just used offmaps in Paris and Edinburgh and it was extremely useful. No need for expensive 3g connection. Maps are accurate and up to date. The number of POIs is limited but you get what you need to get yourself around. The wifi location used by the Ipod is just average and will not update in less wifi dense areas.

This is an app that every smathphone user should have! And the support ask any doubt you might have right away!

The maps are great but I can not find how to get to the menu where my other maps are! It should reckon where I am!

Despite being a great app, I could only download 2 maps. I have to pay even more for other maps. Absurd.

Whenever I search for anything on the map, the app crashes. Really frustrating since Ive planned to use it during my trip. Served me nothing.

Its strange, Ive had this app since the very first version, and although it seems like it would be indispensable, Ive never really had it come through for me when I needed it to. In practice, Ive never ever been able to use it to solve a single problem Ive had while traveling. Ive always had to fall back on the built in maps program to find what Im looking for. At least the price is reasonable. And it is better than absolutely nothing at all. So if you have an allergy to paper, this might be an app for you.

Im in Warsaw with a couple of friends of mine and this app literally saved our asses! We couldnt be more happy - also the introduction video really convinced us big time! So, greetings and kudos from Warsaw and keep up the great work!

like this app very much, also had the previous version of offmaps. very helpful for offline hiking and biking. an using it now in Norway. excellent support; friendly, fast replies and willing to help out. Where do you get that nowadays?

The crashes stopped once my first map finished dowloading and expanding. Sorry about the big scare.

Only useful if you need maps for the major urban areas you may be in. Doesnt have maps for medium or small towns.
