OffMaps 2 allows you to access searchable maps, your position and bookmarks wherever you are, even offline and abroad. OffMaps stores maps directly on your device and lets you search the map offline.

2 maps are included for free, additional maps can be purchased at 0.99$ for 3 downloads (0.33$ per map) or get the lifetime flatrate and load as many maps as you like. Map updates are free.

Offline maps with search

Maps are rendered on device allowing fast downloads and crisp display. OffMaps uses up-to-date crowd-sourced OpenStreetMap (the Wikipedia of maps) that offer a lot of useful information beyond simple roadmaps from ATMs and bus stops to restaurants and bars. Two maps are included for free, more maps can be purchased from within the app.

Very good application. Very useful for those who travel and do not want to pay for data transfers abroad. Assistance is very reactive.

Very well thought and useful app, but it quits unexpectedly quite often. Otherwise Id recommend it.

So easy to use. In Beijing, it is my best tool to check taxi drivers and to find any place. Continue with restaurants, famous places, name of buildings, and so on…. Hey guys, an idea: there is no bus map of Beijing..

Great app. Easy to use and store maps offline. This would be perfect if additional locations could be added through GPS coordinates, as i found lots of missing sites for my trip in japan. But i definitely recommend.

I just used offmaps in Paris and Edinburgh and it was extremely useful. No need for expensive 3g connection. Maps are accurate and up to date. The number of POIs is limited but you get what you need to get yourself around. The wifi location used by the Ipod is just average and will not update in less wifi dense areas.

This is an app that every smathphone user should have! And the support ask any doubt you might have right away!

Some bad moments

It seems you can only browse featured downloaded guides and not browse the world map anymore. If the place youre in is not included in a guide you have nothing. Useless. I will stay with OffMaps1 as long as I can in this regard. Nice UI otherwise.

Je viens dacheter cette version offmap. Jai télechargé les cartes de Casablanca et Marrakech. 80% des rues nont pas de nom et ne peuvent pas être trouvées par recherches. Je ne conseille pas lachat de cette application. Elle est Trés pauvre comme carte.. I dont advise you to buy this application. Its a Too poor map, the majority of streets have no names and cant be finded with the research tool.

The maps are great but I can not find how to get to the menu where my other maps are! It should reckon where I am!

Despite being a great app, I could only download 2 maps. I have to pay even more for other maps. Absurd.

Whenever I search for anything on the map, the app crashes. Really frustrating since Ive planned to use it during my trip. Served me nothing.

Its strange, Ive had this app since the very first version, and although it seems like it would be indispensable, Ive never really had it come through for me when I needed it to. In practice, Ive never ever been able to use it to solve a single problem Ive had while traveling. Ive always had to fall back on the built in maps program to find what Im looking for. At least the price is reasonable. And it is better than absolutely nothing at all. So if you have an allergy to paper, this might be an app for you.
